Tacked Up

Here’s the latest in the Chancey training process… I swear this horse was born trained. Today I saddled and bridled him, just for fun. As you can see, he thought all this was perfectly acceptable. I let him look over everything on the fence first (taste test too) and then put it all on him. I did have to take the bridle off and re-adjust it, and he pawed me! I guess he was enjoying himself and wasn’t ready to be done.  Silly fellow. At one point, he walked away and went over to Natty to nurse – not sure if he was trying to get some comfort because of the stressful situation or just testing to make sure he could still nurse with a bit in his mouth.
